As part of our ongoing #PeriodCupCause initiative, Upasana Society NGO organized an impactful menstrual hygiene awareness session for the dedicated teachers of Giandeep Model Public School. The event aimed to shed light on sustainable menstrual practices and their positive environmental impact.
The session commenced with an introduction to sustainable menstruation, highlighting the significance of eco-friendly approaches. Our knowledgeable team then shared insights into various sustainable menstrual products available, including menstrual cups, cloth pads, and organic disposable pads.
Through this interactive session, we successfully educated the teachers about the importance of adopting sustainable menstrual practices, while also addressing the environmental implications of conventional menstrual products. A major highlight was the donation of over 30 menstrual cups to the teachers, providing them with a more comfortable and eco-conscious option.
