Empowering Menstrual Health: Our 2-Day #PeriodCupCause Session for 300+ Girls in Bhalgam, Gujarat

Our 2-Day #PeriodCupCause session for 300+ girls in a school in Bhalgam, Gujarat was an incredible experience. The aim of the session was to promote menstrual health and hygiene while educating the girls on the benefits of using menstrual cups as a sustainable alternative to traditional menstrual products.

The session was conducted over two days, with each day being highly interactive and engaging. We addressed common myths and misconceptions about menstruation and provided the girls with detailed instructions on how to use menstrual cups. We also shared information on the environmental impact of traditional menstrual products and how menstrual cups can be a more sustainable option.

One of the highlights of the session was the donation of menstrual cups to the teachers of the school. We provided the teachers with menstrual cups and training on how to use them so that they can guide the students and their parents.

The girls were extremely enthusiastic about the menstrual cups and were keen to make the switch from traditional menstrual products. We also had informative discussions with the girls on menstrual hygiene and answered any questions they had.

The session was a huge success, and we left feeling empowered by the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the girls. We hope to conduct more such sessions in the future to continue promoting menstrual health and hygiene and spreading awareness about sustainable period practices.
