Empowering Girls: #PeriodCupCause at Gurukul Adarsh School, Silchar, Assam

Menstruation is a natural and significant part of a girl’s life, yet it often poses challenges and barriers to their well-being, especially in educational settings. With the aim of breaking these barriers and promoting menstrual health and hygiene, we conducted the #PeriodCupCause at Gurukul Adarsh School.

Our event focused on raising awareness about sustainable and cost-effective menstrual hygiene solutions, with a particular emphasis on menstrual cups. We donated menstrual cups to the girl students and also provided them to the teachers. This way, the teachers can guide and support the girls in making the switch to menstrual cups in the future.

Throughout this video, you will witness the positive impact of the #PeriodCupCause on the lives of the girl students. We conducted informative sessions and workshops to educate them about menstrual cup usage, addressing any concerns and dispelling myths along the way.
