PeriodCupCause Chiplun Police Station
Upasana Society NGO had the privilege to conduct an awareness session on sustainable periods for the staff of Chiplun Police Station in Konkan, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. We were thrilled to witness the enthusiastic participation of the police staff, who openly shared their experiences of managing periods while on duty.
The session proved to be highly interactive, providing a platform to discuss the unique challenges faced by the staff in managing their periods while wearing the uniform and working for long hours. Moreover, we addressed the prevailing taboo surrounding menstruation and emphasized the need to break free from it.
To support the staff, Upasana Society NGO generously donated 25 menstrual cups, which will empower them with a sustainable and comfortable period experience. This experience brought immense fulfillment to our organization, and we hope to inspire more individuals and organizations to come forward and support sustainable menstruation for all.
A big shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the incredible Mr. Saurabh Kashalkar & Ms. Dipti Kashalkar for their active participation in conducting this session.
