Break the Silence-SGNP Officials Borivali Join #PeriodCupCause Movement for Sustainable Menstruation

In an effort to spread awareness about sustainable menstrual practices, we conducted a #PeriodCupCause session for the officials of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) in Borivali. The session aimed to break the taboo around menstruation and promote the use of menstrual cups as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional menstrual products.

We started the session by explaining the benefits of menstrual cups and how they are not only more sustainable but also more cost-effective in the long run. We then proceeded to demonstrate how to use and clean a menstrual cup, while also addressing any concerns or doubts that the officials had.

We were thrilled to see that the officials were very receptive to the idea and showed great interest in trying out menstrual cups for themselves. To further support this cause, we donated menstrual cups to each one of them, so that they could experience the benefits firsthand.

Overall, it was a successful and empowering session, and we hope that the SGNP officials in Borivali will continue to spread awareness about sustainable menstrual practices within their community. By breaking the silence around menstruation and promoting the use of menstrual cups, we can work towards a more sustainable and inclusive future for all.
