During this awareness session, 400+ students of Government College Of Arts Science And Commerce in Sanquelim, North Goa learned about sustainable menstrual practices and embraced the #PeriodCupCause.
The session covered topics such as the harmful effects of disposable menstrual products on the environment and how menstrual cups can provide a more eco-friendly and cost-effective solution.
The students were also given a demonstration on how to use and maintain menstrual cups. The session was well-received, and many students expressed interest in switching to menstrual cups.
The initiative was a step towards empowering women’s health and promoting sustainable menstrual practices.
