During this #PeriodCupCause session, Upasana Society NGO had the opportunity to interact with over 50 women in Chennai and donated menstrual cups to them.
It was heartwarming to witness their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about sustainable menstrual practices. What made the session even more special was the presence of a translator, enabling us to overcome any language barriers. This experience emphasized that with determination, anything is achievable.
A heartfelt appreciation goes to my friend and his mother, Mr. Kathir, who graciously hosted us and arranged for the session to take place at their yoga center.
Together, we can challenge the taboos surrounding menstruation and advocate for eco-friendly options in menstrual hygiene.
